How Much Does an Eyebrow Lift Cost?

There is really no typical eyebrow lift. Every case is unique to the individual having the procedure. In general, the cost of eyebrow lifts ranges from $4,000 to $7,000. However, there are many different techniques in use today which can impact the cost of the procedure, along with your geographic location and your surgeon's experience level. In addition, many people choose to have their eyebrow lift done at the same time as a rhinoplasty, cheek lift or other procedures, which have additional costs.

What is included in the procedure?

When you contact your surgeon to get a quote for your eyebrow lift procedure, it is important to make sure you are getting an all-inclusive price. This should include your initial consultation and planning sessions, the surgery, anesthesia, hospital fees, recovery time and any follow up appointments needed. You do not want to be surprised later on when you receive a separate bill for your hospital or any necessary prescriptions after the fact.

Who needs an eyebrow lift?

Typically, eyebrow lift patients are men and women between the ages of 35 to 60 who have deep wrinkle lines across their forehead, or deep creases between their eyebrows. The brow lift works to smooth the skin of the forehead and bring your eyebrows back into a neutral, youthful orientation without sagging or drooping over your eyes. This procedure can be done by itself or as part of a complete facelift as long as the patient is in good health and is prepared to handle the recovery and aftercare of the procedure.

Eyebrow lift options

While there are more than a dozen methods currently used to perform eyebrow lifts the most common are open or direct brow lifts and endoscopic lifts. Direct brow lifts typically require a larger incision and more recovery time, but they go straight to the source of the problem with precision. Endoscopic brow lifts use tiny tools and a camera to create much smaller incisions with less discomfort and recovery time. Some patients choose to use permanent sutures beneath the surface of the skin for more permanent results. There are also a number of non-invasive eyebrow lift procedures, using injections like Botox, or ultraviolet light treatments which stimulate collagen growth beneath your dermal layer. These procedures are significantly less costly and usually have very little recovery time, but the results may only last for one to two years.
